Default Redline Gear Oil - My G50 is Happy!

I finally got around to replacing the transmission oil in my 87 G50 Cab. One of the last of the 'baseline' things. From when I had gotten the car (last fall), the tranny shifted well etc, but had a fair amount of nosie - i.e. rattling on decel - which seems to be a common complaint.

I drained the old stuff (Royal Purple by the looks of it & pretty dirty for gear oil) & put in 3 + litres of Redline 75W90 NS - for no slip.

It shifts smoother & the rattling noise is gone. Conclusion: Redline NS is great for the G50. I'm sold.

Do you have a limited slip differential? Is the "NS" for LSDs?

The NS stands for No Slip. Without LSD. See Redline
