I'd paint the bumpers to match the brown on it now. Then repaint them with everything else later.

Trust me, no matter what color you spray on the bumbers, you'll want to redo them when you do the big repaint. Painting the bumpers 'in advance' is a false economy.

i was never a fan of two-tone on anything, but i think you could get away with it until the repaint. after all it is a porsche

I like the two tone, add a duck tail and lower it a little, maybe wider flairs....like jack's car (I want one too.)
regards,
Steve

Thanks all. I'm going to go with the second one. Jack and Capt. Carrera's comments on the bumpers are very true...I'm sure I'll want to repaint them again (even if for true color matching) whenever I change color. So I'm just getting a rear bumper for now and cleaning off the trim on the front and sides. I'll have all of that done before the summer is out....but after I can afford it a little more.

Geez-o-pete my "$12k car" is getting really expensive!

Default Looks Sharp

I like the smooth lines of the fiberglass front and rear. Even the two-tone looks pretty cool.

I can see the two-tone with the 2nd picture better Doug. The thinner trimlines accent better, making it look "intentional", not just a case of looking like primer waiting for paint.

Love the look of the orange car... perfect...now, just lower it an inch, throw on some high-comp P&Cs, cams, port the heads, PMOs....

See.. its almost as fun to spend your money that you don't have than to spend my money that I don't have....

Beautiful car! Given the fact you won't be doing a repaint to silver for several years I would definately paint the bumpers to match the body. They will almost definately need to be reworked by then anyway (chips/scrapes/general stuff) so WTH! If your at all handy and have a paint gun you could DIY. Small areas (for me) usually come out great, its those big panels that scare me!

Thanks.

I think I'll leave the painting to the professionals. I can do some "teardown" and maybe even some prepwork to save some labor, but even just the bumpers I'll let the good guys do it.

Wish I could buy your C2! It would make a great compliment to an early 911!
