From Vancouver, BC. I own a 1985.5 944 burgundy, and love coming here to the 911 forum because I plan to own one in the near future.

Ciao...

Hi from Midland, Ontario, the Palm Springs of Canada. My '77 911 targa with 3.0L '78 engine (white with tan leather) is in the garage, not because of snow and cold -- perish the thought! -- but to protect it from sap from the palm trees which grow so plentifully here in central Ontario.

All B.S. aside, I would like to hear from other 911 owners who live in small towns (Midland is 16,000 souls) about where they get their maintenance done, etc.

Skategoat-

Not a Canadian but visit often- as a matter of fact I'm making this post from the Valhalla.

Driving the Pcar thru this traffic on the 401 must be exhilarating.

Hi everyone I new to rennlist, and I'm in Winnipeg. My 911S is tucked away in full hybernation in the garage as it should be in Winnipeg in January. On the plus side taking the car out of the garage in the spring makes it feel like a new car all over again

Gerry100:

The reason I bought a Porsche was to have a car nimble enough to dodge the flying truck tires on the 401. More fun than an autocross.

WJG2, I am in Stratford (small town for the others) and thanks to Todd Holyoak, I have found a wrench in nearby Kitchener.

I mentioned your name too, but he couldnt remember off hand. Busy shop!

Anyways, I am beaming excited as my new to me polished fuchs are expected tomorrow and am waiting on my Bursch exhaust that will come early next week.

Anyone know where I can buy R compound track tires at reasonable costs in Canada?

Hi,

I'm in Burlington, Ontario and my 1970 911T/E/S (T chassis, E motor, S trim) is waiting in the garage for the good weather to return.

I did see a Silver 993 Turbo going down Brant St. today... a much braver man than I!

cheers,

Todd

Hey Todd, my office is in Burlington. Do you ever get out to the cruise thingy at Mapleveiw in the summer. Every Wednesday night, many nice vehicles converge on the west side parking lot. I go about once a month and sometime hook up with some other PCA members. My office is right across the street from the golf range on Harvester. If you see a black cab in the parking lot, drop in to unit F and say hi some time.
