I am wondering if anyone can recommend a gray spray paint that approximates the OE paint on my gas tank.
It is not a concours car, nor particualrly collectable. As there is no other gray to compare in the front trunk, close counts. Because I do not have the plywood insert in the front trunk, durability of the paint is important.
TIA for any help.

Well, I happen to have some POR 15 I bought to fix the inevitable rust in the tub under the tank. Was extremely impressed with its 'workability' and tyhe finish it produces. fortunately the rust was only of the surface kind. POR 15 has a kit for about $25 CDN called the starter kit. It has the cleaner, etcher and 4 oz of paint, not to mention gloves and brushes. Great product.
Thanks for the advice.
