Hello all - I have a Weltmeister Harness bar that I am willing to sell cheap to the first rennlister that gives me a reasonable offer (basically enought to make it worth my while to pack the thing up and ship it out). I need to get rid of this one as I ordered a roll bar with built in harness guides. I would think this would fit late 70s to 89 911s (it may even fit 964s and 993s). This is a good way to hold you in tight for AutoX and maybe light DE participation. As has been discussed a lot in this forum, I would not recommend this for any serious track work. But for AutoX fun, this will keep you from sliding around in your seat. Let me know if you are interested - otherwise it goes on eBay. Thanks. The harness itself is not for sale.

Hi Roamer - as long as the side pillers are the same size and distance from each other it will work. This bolts into the seatbelt pulley bolts and clamps along the pilar (hopefully you can see how it works in the picture). It is actually a nice system.

Those are actualy very nice bars, I had one my SC before I installed my cage and I couldnt believe how much it stiffened up the car. I think it actualy made the car stiffer than my cage
oh yeah it works with 2 or 3 inch belts which is nice too.

Yep - it is nice and does add some stiffness to the car. I think in a targa it may actually add a little more support.
If anyone is interested just e-mail me at billbennett@roserix.com. Thanks.
