oil pressure
I am new to the world of air cooled porsches. I came from the front engine water cooled world (944). Bought a 71 911T. It has a 2.2 with S cams,dual plug heads PMO's and bursch exhaust previous owner says recentally rebuilt. The engine is very strong. Question: When at first start up and through about 30 minutes of driving the oil pressure is just under 100 psi (cold oil). Then the pressure will drop to just under 60 psi while crusing at 3000 rpm. Temps are about 180 to 200 degrees. Using 20-50 Valvoline. Do I have a problem? Any thoughs?
