Question Odd oil leak

Hi everyone! I own a 1987 911 Carrera with 79,000 original miles. It had a small oil leak that was noticed about 10,000 miles ago that has since grown in size. The leak was suspected to be coming from the head end of the number 5 cylinder (the center cylinder on the right side). The odd bit is the oil appears to be coming from both ends of the cylinder sleeve, I figured it would be normal to leak from the case side not the head side. I am now wondering if there is something else in that general vicinity that could be leaking engine oil causing it to look as if the cylinder is leaking. Any input on things to check would be much appreciated. I don't want to rebuilt a good engine!!!
