Default Hey Guys New to the board.

Hey Guys,
I have been lurking around the boards here on Rennlist and others. I am member. I'm Don Ramsay from Knoxville Tn. at the foot of the Smokey mountains. Its a great place!
I am a mechinal engineer and own a Porsche restoration, racing and service shop witch was started out as a hobby. Its called Air Cooled Classics. We only work on Porsche's and it works out well.
If you would like to go to our website it's www.aircooledclassics.biz .
I have been restoring and building race cars for now over 30 years and a true car nut. ACC was started from my home in 1988 as a business and has grown very nicely. We now have a 3000sf service shop a 3000sf paint and body shop and a 3000sf reatoration shop. You might of seen several of the projects we have been doing in Jim Pasha's articals in Excellance Magazine. The last one was on a 914 to 6 conversion. We are now building a 914-6 GT street car and a 72 RSR outlaw. We just finished a restoration a 914 LTD Edition today.
I feel very very luckey I get to have a job I Love.
Here is a few pics of them.
SeeYa!
Don

Thumbs up

Yea, 17s fr 9.5"& r11"
I had Mike make them custom with a 1" wide polished ban around the outer edge of the center. It gives them an optical illusion due to the polished section.
Its that way, because I was trying to make that 17" wheel look smaller in dia.
It also makes them l like there really DEEP and have multiable steps in ths rim.
I really like the way they came out.
Mike makes very nice wheels!!

Hi Don,

I live just down the street from you in Huntsville, AL. I'm working on a '73 coupe as a track/street car, and have had some recent interesting experiences with a 3.0 liter I bought to install in the car. Since your photos indicate similar interests, drop me a private email, and I'll pass on my experience, and probably ask you some questions...
