Looks like the P.O. covered the seat for transport? That was very thoughtful of him (her?)

Minor point, but more likely the shipping co. covered the seat.....when Reliable delivered my 996 they had done the same.

Nothing like having that big semi pull up to your house and deliver you a Porsche! Congrats!

the fun has just begun, nice model and PO appears to have cared for it fairly well.

I would love to see a picture of the interior to see how the new mats match up with the rest of the interior. I am hoping to restore mine, but haven't found a source for the carpet.

I used the Lloyd mats, the velvet is a very close match. I know I said "perfect" in the start of the post, but I was pretty excited and the car was in the garage. Still, even in bright light they look very close and no one has noticed anything. I have a 56K connection. but my fastest ever connection is 26.4 Kbps, so it takes forever to load a picture. I'll post more pictures as soon as I can. As far as I can tell, the car is very original and I'm the 4th owner. I'll do whatever I can to help you with pictures or whatever you need in your restoration efforts.

If anyone want to buy a Weissach, I have a friend that has one for sale in Northern CA. Great condition with about 77,000 miles on it. Let me know and I'll contact him.
