Default Locking Sheet Metal screws

Hope this isn't a dumb question:

I have both door panels off, and discovered while removing them that all the sheet metal screws and machine screws were loose to some degree or another. This is after I tightened them late last year.

I know what to do about the machine screws, but what works best on the sheet metal screws? The holes are good and not stripped. I'm not sure Loc-Tite will do it because of the limited thread contact in sheet metal.

Any ideas appreciated, as always.

If they are sheet metal screws I would go with the a self taping screw and jump up
one size in width not length. That will insure a tight grip.
