I will second Pete's recommendation EXCEPT...
try to find dry silicone spray. it is most commonly called 'mold release'. It is intended to be used to remove fiberglass or epoxy parts from their molds. It is better suited for most Porsche applicatins thant he liquified stuff most people are familiar with because it will not run amd ooze all over averthing it gets near.
I learned this trick when installing an aftermarket gasket on a rear 1/4 window, well it was the second one that I tried the mold release on, the first one still doesn't stay in place because the silicone stays wet for at least 2 weeks when not exposed to ambient air. That gasket moves around so much you'd think I used SAE30 to lube it up, whereas the 2nd one is stationary.
