Don't sweat it guys. I had no idea this post took off like this. I actually just said "oh well" and thought it would die. People are certainly entitled to their options. No big deal really. You know the old saying.
I do however appreciate the support.

Muz, sorry nothing in the future for the 964 in the rear, only the front right now.

Raceman, The front older style we had for years. It was the rear I had a problem getting. The biggest trick on the front is sourcing the euro trim for the replacement of the side indicator. We finally started selling them as a package with the front. It really doesn't do any good to have one without the other.

TRJ....The flame thrower was a GTII spec track/street 930 making 607HP and able to hit over 700HP without issue. Flames were standard..Thanks for the input.

Looking at Stephen Magown's picture I can understand trj911's flame thrower comment. It appears that there is an aircraft hose fitting hooked to the exhaust tip. What is up with that?

Personally I think the ricer neon and huge wings (on a front wheel drive car!?) is ridicules but I can understand the clear lenses in some cases. If you have a silver or white car it would cleanup the color scheme. It doesn't add weight or effect the operation of the vehical so why not.

Couple of things here, the tip you see is not a tip at all. It was the actual dump from the turbo. Each turbo had a snout that was a direct 4 inch dump. There wasn't room for a muffler of any sorts in either side. The set up was like a 935 except the dumps went left and right rather than center. The location of the turbos was still the same as the 935. It was needed to move that much air from the impellers. The SS hose you see and the round can is one of two drip tanks for the turbos. The cans were 3 inches in diameter and were feed from a -8 dump from the turbo and sucked back into the oil tank by another -8. Each side had one.

WOW! Sorry for the flame on my part. It was meant more to be funny than offending. My apology to all.

PhD,
Just wondering-why did you go through the trouble of having these clear lens made up, when they're already available through other sources? I've seen them on ebay, and for sale at the German Autofest (Ventura, Calif). (for less than your production cost).
Some profess them to be Japanese spec, others (see post above) state that they're Italian spec. Anyone know for sure where these lens were 'supposed' to be used?

thanks

When we started doing these the cost of the Japanese spec were around 400.00. Don't ask me how I know!! The Japanese spec versions actually did not have the red brake portion. They were like the ones in the pic. The versions we made use the the red and also are frosted to take the "rice" edge off. Everything is done in Europe.
