BTW... Jack Olsen... thanks for the great pics... my mouth waters. Also... that yellow car with the stripe in the 4th picture... do you happen to know what that color is? Is that a factory code color? Thanks

That's Rob Dickinson's 911R-ish clone. It's an awesome car, and I think its got an article about it coming soon in Excellence.

I believe the color is Bahama Yellow. But I also think he may have tweaked it, some -- if my memory is right, it was painted at least twice before he was happy with the color scheme.

Jack, Thanks. I am going to repaint my car and am torn between keeping the origional Champaigne Yellow (which is a bit to tame for my tastes), or getting something with just a bit more color in it. I do want to stick to a period color. That really looks sharp.

Hmmmm I've looked at the RS door panels, and changing seats would not be too much of a chore, the interior was already replaced, just that I did not vaccuum it out before hand.

I am open to an outright swap if anyone has interest, and I am also open to a sale too.

If any of you have interest in either option let me know via email

Well after alot of input I am going to do the following, Seems like there are a LOT of ppl doing RS mods to their cars, so I am going to kinda lean away from that. I am going to do some mods to the car, but everything I do will be undoable. I want a wing (yeah I know that causes horror for some of you, but actually it looks pretty good when we set it up for paint), but the wing is on a lid and I am keeping the original lid. and all of the original components so if someone wanted to convert it back to a stock 71T I'll have all the stuff to do it.

My only other dilema is mirrors and I will post a seperate post on that, I NEED a passenger side mirror, I go nuts w/o one.

I am still open to trade "up" to what I want or sell if the price is right and buy what I want.

I want to thank all of you who have spent the time to educate me on my 1st porsche here. And now that I finally got one, it will never be the last one

thank you

James
