Default Factory short shift kit availability??

I have decided that it is time to re-bush the shift linkage in my SC, and I had thought about adding the factory short shift kit "while I'm in there". The only problem as all of you know is that they were recently discontinued. My local Porsche dealer said they sold their last one only a few weeks ago . Are there any other places that I'm not thinking of that might still have one of them? I would just forget about the short shift, but when I have a helmet on, I have to rake the seat back so far (to avoid hitting my head), that third gear is just slightly too far away. I really don't want to spend the $ to get a Wevo, and I have not heard any good things about the Weltmeister set up.... Any Ideas??

Thanks for your input

Ryan,

Go to Hershey in April. Guaranteed there will be a couple of Porsche Short Shift Kits for sale.

Ryan

A couple of weeks ago a dealer in Texas said they still had a couple.

See This Thread for info.
