Default Bischoff muffler??

Was the Bischoff muffler a factory muffler? I happened to see that mine is a Bischoff while under the car last night ('75 911 ROW engine). It is a single in single out. If not factory, is there anything special about it? Just curious. Thanks.

Yessir, Bischoff & Leistritz were the two main OEM muffler suppliers to Porsche at that time.

You have the normal muffler that all of these cars came with.

For a nice performance boost, backdate the heat exchangers and muffler to the '74 style,..... (SSI's and a Monty dual-in/single out)
