Ignition
I just entered the world of the air cooled from the watercooled front engine brothers. I have one question. The 71 911T has direct fire ignition I guess manufactered by Pacific Motorsports. Heard of this ignition system

You have the ubiquitious Electromotive HPV-1.
Pacific Motorsports (now defunct) merely configured and packaged these for 911 applications.
To be perfectly honest, a Bosch distributor in good shape with a Pertronix and OEM Bosch CD system is superior. I'd bet that the previous owner had a Marelli distributor on there and it was in poor shape.
