New Update
Just before her condition worsened, I had finished the mold for a totally new pre ’74 911 front nose/spoiler, which I had been working on for over 9 months. A friend of mine tested it this weekend for me on his car at a DE that was held here in Pensacola. I could not be there for the testing since I was at the hospital, but he reported that the new part “noticeably improved the car’s performance” over the previously installed 911 RS bumper. He indicated that the car was far more stable at high speeds and while cornering. Further, the brakes ran cooler all day due to the openings directing air (even without ducting) to the brake area.
I have included a picture of the part as it was bolted onto his car. The part is still in its white gel coat finish and was mounted as I delivered it to him without any further modifications. Please keep in mind that the car is a track car and not a show car.
I thought some of you performance minded folks may want to know about this new part.
Thanks again for being there for us during this difficult time. Things are getting better!
Sincerely,
Karl Lawley
