Cost for carrera tail and front spoiler?
Does anyone know how much it costs to add a carrera tail and front spoiler? What about if the paint does not match? Is the installation something I can do myself? I have not ever worked on cars but I'm mechanically inclined. I'm looking to buy a 911 and want one with spoilers but many nices cars don't have them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

$1233 See Pelican Spoiler
Yes, it can be self-installed (holes must be drilled though) & you will have to paint it to match. Many buy used complete with engine lid so it can be easily swapped out.

In the rear, you can save money and weight if you're willing to go with a one piece fiberglass piece. MA Shaw makes ones that drop right into the rear grill opening. They do have to be painted.

Note if you add any tail, you must add the Chin Spoiler to maintain the aero balance. Another $250. The tail & the chin work together to reduce lift.

My experience:
Chin spoiler and mounting hardware from Pelican: $257.25 plus $78.75=$336
(get the hardware package...necessary)
Rear Carerra Tail and Replacement decklid - Used at Swap Meet: $500
New gasket for tail: $25
Paint/labor: $400
I put the front lip spolier on. It is much much easier if you have access to a lift. Otherwise, might be easier to remove front valence to gt to mounting/drilling area.
