Default Anyone with white carrera photos?

Hey Everyone, I'm looking for some pictures of white 911's, especially 3.2 carreras. I'm suppossed to look at one next weekend sometime but white is not my first choice. I need some convincing. Thanks!

I never thought I would consider a white 911 until I saw one in person. WOW! They tend to look washed out in photos, but they look great in person if the paint is in good shape.

Here's mine. White wasn't my first choice, but it has really grown on me.

I find that white is the easiest color to keep looking good.

White and then silver were the official race color for German race cars back when color denoted the country of origin i.e. Britain-green, France-blue, Italy -red...Percentage wise not as many whites as silver, black and red in that order according to PCNA's list of most sold colors for 911. I think the white "flips" nicely and accentuates the body contours.

Thanks for all the posts. I guess I'll just have to see it in person. White is a hard color to photograph...

Here's my contribution. Not exactly stock looking, but it is white.

If white isn't your first choice, why waste your time? You live in CA - 911s are everywhere. It should be easy to find a selection of cars in the color you want. You don't have to compromise. You might be able to accept white at the outset, but if it isn't what you really wanted you'll soon regret the decision. Be patient and wait for your perfect car. It may take more time and some travel, but it will be well worth it.

I would like to know everywhere is where? I have been looking for a 1982 or 1983 SC coupe in silver and have found none. not many in black either, so now I have expanded my choice to Guards red and White and really haven't found that big of a selection. most are in targas.

That's exactly what my wife keeps telling me. This car is just close to me, in great shape, with low miles, etc. In fact, it's exactly what I want except for the color, and I keep reading on here that color should not be a reason to pass up a great car.
