My '89 911 Carrera has option code QH, indicating:
Leather with Leatherette Beltline Cashmere
Seats/Carpet/Side Panels Beige
Roofliner/Trim Black
My problem is that I can't tell which leather was associated with cows, and which 'leather' was sourced from the mysterious naugas.
Can anyone direct me to info that might reveal the answer?

I don't have access to my car right now (3 more months at sea), but it sounds like we have the same interior. The only things leather in my car are the "seating surfaces", shift boot (although I've swapped the stock one out for an AGLA ****/boot combo... very nice), and steering wheel.
The dash is plastic (which I prefer), door panels, door handles and door pocket tops, seat sides and backs, rear panels, rear deck, and headliner are all leatherette (poor little naugas). The cows made out on this interior.
I don't really mind all the fake leather. The leatherette holds up real well and it is high quality, so it doesn't look cheap.
