Man I wish I could I find a REAL manual for 74 porsche. Anyway, What is the silver half role of quarters looking thing mounted next to the ignition module. it has 2 wires coming from it. Is that the condensor?? and does it run to the points??

Sorry to bring up an older topic. I found this on Permatune's website..."A later version of the Perma-Tune, the "little blue box", was stock equipment on the 1974 911. Aero Design Products, Inc. of Newport Beach, California manufactured the systems for installation on the Porsche production line in Germany under contract with Dr. Sturm." This is what I have. Actually the same as a 911EOS,911E Old Style (permatune #) with 8 pin's. Eureka!
