Hi
Can anyone clarify for me how the 911T differed from the 911L in terms of trim levels?
Many thanks

Randy's right. Go to this link and you'll find a lot of hard-core early guys.
68 and 69 were very different cars, of course. The wheelbase change came in 69, as well as the addition of slightly wider wheel flares, a new heating and ventilation system, a smaller steering wheel, different rear-view mirror, a flip-out dash ash tray, larger door storage pockets and twin batteries in front for improved handling.
In 1968, the 911T offered basket-weave vinyl inlays standard, and corduroy or hounds-tooth inlays optional. Lether was an option. The 911L had grained leatherette inlays standard, with the same inlay alternatives optional. On the L and S, carpeting matched the interior color scheme. The 68 911T used Perlon while the 911L and 911S had velour. 1968 exterior options included the 911R-style PORSCHE side text decals and 5.5x15 Fuchs.
In 1969, vinyl interior was standard for all models, with leather optional. 1969 seats could be ordered with basket-weave, hounds-tooth, corduroy inlays with vinyl or leather. The 1969 911T had black or brown Perlon carpet. The 911E and 911S had velour. Fuchs were optional in 1969, and even in chrome. Other options: velourian floormas, bumper guards, leather straps for the rear seat, suitcase for the rear seat, leather-wrapped steering wheel, fog lamps, power radio antenna, headrests, tinted glass, rear window defrost, roof luggage rack, and a stainless steel muffler skirt.
All of this according to the Red Book.
