Default Winter Car Cover

Does anyone know if I should not use my car cover in my unheated garage in the winter? Both my cars are stored most of the winter here in Indy. I take them off once a week and fire up the cars for a quick spin. I'm worried that the moisture when I remove the cover can cause mold or rust problems. Any horror stories or help here?

Thanks,

Ron

Ron,

A quick spin is a short drive? There are several schools of thought on that.....if you take it out ensure you warm the engine up to normal operating temps. I add fuel preservative in December and don't fire it up until March, which I've been doing for years with no ill effects.

There is a device sold to put in the car cabin to absorb moisture. I think I saw it in the Performance Products catalog.
