Post Alternator wires

Hi, I switch the stock alternator in my 77 911 3.0 (ROW) for a valeo one. In the process, I toasted one wire. I believe the wire went to the blower motor. Anyways, I said heck. I don't use the heat anyways, so I put all back together. No problems one year later. Now that I have the motor out, I am thinking about replacing that wire. The wire that was toasted went on the alternator the same place the wire that comes from the starter goes. Anyone know where this second wire could go? Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks.

The second wire goes to the rear window defroster relay and also feeds the heater motor relay, both found in the engine compartment.

Thanks Bill, where can I find the heater relay? It has to be around the starter because I remember finding the toasted end of the wire near it.
Thanks.

Thanks, do you remember if this was a heavy wire. The wire I toasted was a lot thinker than say a wire going to a headlight.
Thanks.
