My green 73 911 has a color number of 231-9-1. The color looks very close to Vipor green, but it's not the Vipor green color number. I've looked at several Porsche color chart references including the one most recently posted here, but I can't find 231 anywhere.

Was this a custom color with no formula information?

Any clues?

 

I checked all years of 911's 1974 and earlier. No mention of a 231. There is L213 for Irish green, but that is a dark green, not very close to Viper green. You may have a custom factory paint.
