G'day all from OZ.

I'm trying to re-key two door lock cylinders that I got from a wreckers.
Has anyone done this before?
Is there a supplier out there that will sell the little brass things that the key "pushes" out of the way to unlock?
I've tried to rearrange them to suit my key but I need ones with a 'shorter' inside length. Existing key fits my ignition.

Any help or advice?
