Default Monty Muffler owners.... question

Any Monty muffler owners or those familiar with the mufflers out there? I need to know if there is a serial number or emblem pressed into the muffler. Basically any way to know if its actually a Monty? Looking at buying one that looks exactly like the single in, single out 100mm tip version but the seller has no idea.

Thanks!

Don't recall one on mine. The stainless steel has a bronzish cast, and it has big exit pipes.

Steve W. sells them and will surely know how to id one.

That's not like any Monty I've seen. It may be for a turbo.

Here's mine. Although it's a dual-in, it should look the same otherwise.

Check out www.aasesales.com for other model pix.

Maybe I'm smokin' it but I think it looks exactly like the 84-89 Monty (pictured below) from the aase website... Opinions??

You got it dude.

I guess I expected the single-in to look like the dual-in (like the stock ones do) and didn't even bother looking at that part of the site. $950... holy moley! Wonder why it's that much more than the dual-in. More crap inside maybe? Looks like less to me.

It should save you some weight at least. Hope you're not buying in GBP. The € rate is killing us over here.

Is it full-on winter at Lakenheath, yet? We had a light dusting of snow today, our second in 2 weeks. Last time it was 3-4 inches.

George,
Its getting close - I flew down final last night in the snow showers, nothing sticking on the ground but it sure feels like winter. 2 v 2 Intercepts with a 30K floor - yipee. Quite a change from Virginia/North Carolina, huh?!
BTW - I got the muffler for $400 US, so I'm happy.

Cheers,
