Post Where is the engine identification number

A picture would be nice if you have one. I looked to the lower right of the fan housing and still couldn't find it. Maybe Im just blind.

The engine number is on the fan support casting flange. It's vertical down the side on the right hand side of the fan as you open the engine lid. The engine type number is on the flat service of the case just up from this number where the oil line for the right hand cam comes out. I'm trying to upload a pic
