Does anyone know if I can swap out my wheels from my 928 to fit on a 1984 911 convertible? I have 2 cars i'm trying to buy. One is a Turbo Widebody and the other is standard. The Turbo Twist wheels are 245/40/18, ET65 fronts and 265/35/18, ET52 rears. My 928 is for sale at http://cars.com May or may not sell it. PM me if interested. Have lots invested.

I cant believe you are selling the wheels, after I just saw you last weekend. Were you converted over to a widebody that soon?. Oh well, the wheels should fit, but if you want to, give me a call, and you can fit your's to my 86, and see for yourself. Bye for now, Strup

 

From memory, 65mm and 52mm offsets won't work on a pre-89 911 without 'roughly' a 35-40mm spacer up front and 'roughly' a 30-35mm spacer in the rear.

Turbo twists look good on most any Porsche - next year I'm switching all 3 of my cars to them.

I'm not selling the wheels. Trying to keep the new Turbo Twist and thinking about selling the 928. Just bought a 1982 Porsche 911SC Targa last night. It has the C-2 Cup wheels on it. I'll try swapping over this weekend. I have three sets of wheels to play with on two Porsches. Sonds like work. The C-2 Cup wheels don't have any thick spacers like yours have.
