Question Unknown wires next to front trunk blower

I noticed these two wires next to the heater blower in my front trunk. Does anyone know what they are suppose to be plugged into. Or are they for an option that my car does not have?

Thx,
David

Just a wild guess, but an educated one. I'll bet that your car is wired for a factory alarm, and those wires are for the noise maker (signal horn). One hot (12V) and one ground - makes sense.

By the way, that's not a heater blower in that compartment, it's the evaporator housing and blower for the A/C!

blah hot, cold, it is all the same thing.

Joking aside. Thanks for the correction.

My car does not have the factory alarm nore was it when it was purchased from the dealer. But throughout the car there are factory plugs that are not plugged into anything. I'm just on a quest for knowledge.

Your car may have been a "testbed" and fitted with some receptacles for special testing. A friend had a 944 with about 25 special connectors. When he inquired to Porsche, they told him he had a special testbed car.
