Rear reflector: '86 <--> '87 interchangable?

Will a '87 rear "PORSCHE" reflector (red letters) fit my '86 (black letters)? Is it a direct swap?
How does one remove/mount these reflectors?

No the clips on those two years are different. If you want the 1987 and newer look WWW.VERTEX.COM sells the new look for the '86 and prior cars.

I used the same tool that I use to take off my door panels with. I don't know the precise name for it, but it looks like a double-headed flat blade screw driver. If you don't have it, you can easily find it in any of the auto shops.
You'll need to gently work the tool in between the reflector and the frame. Pry a little at a time across the entire length of the reflector. You will need to repeat this a couple of times until the clips have worked there way out. If you have the bumper off, you can work from both the top and bottom side, otherwise just work the top clips out first.
