cold weather change?
I just moved my '87 Carrera Targa from Jackson, MS to Boulder/Nederland CO.
325 agl to 5300/8300 agl
What do I need to change on it for cold weather?
engine oil? it has 20w50 now
rear gear oil?
trans oil?
???
any help appreciated

You should consult your owner's manual for choosing a different weight oil if the temps you expect to experience are below the range for 20W 50.
If you have fresh transmission fluid in your tranny, that should be all you need for cold weather driving. Old fluid may make your tranny a bit balky until warmed up.
Remember to keep the rev's below 4400 rpm's until the car is fully warmed up. This is even more important in really cold weather to get all that oil warmed up before driving very agressively.
No need to start a cold car and then let it idle awhile. Just start it, let the idle stabilize for 10-20 seconds, then start driving off slowly (again keeping rev's low until the motor is warm).
There is no rear gear oil on a 911.
Remember to check your tire air pressure once the car gets to the colder weather. Tires loose about 1 psi per every 10 degree (F) drop in temp.
911's are great cold weather cars.
