Default Durafix Aluminum repair

I have a small repair to do to my crankcase. I think the Durafix aluminum repair rods (as seen on tv) would be more than adequit to do the job. Problem is if you order from their website, you have to order several pounds minimum. Does anyone have a couple sticks they would be willing to sell? Or is anyone else interested in getting some and we could split the order? They only charge about $40 for a minimum order, so it's not about the $$$, it just seems wasteful to buy 20+ sticks when you probably could get by with 1 or 2. Anyone ever used this stuff? Does it work like they say it works?
