Question bright lights!!!

i pulled on my headlight switch the other night on my sc and the headlights are stuck in the bright position. switch lever feels to be working normally. have any ideas? thanks

Same thing happened on my Carrera. The switch contacts were screwed up. I'd suggest replacing the switch.

Sounds like classic switch problem. Don't bother trying to clean the contacts. It's not too difficult to replace. Pull the whell and "clamshell" housing, and the switch comes right off. The toughest part is the dozen or so wires into the back of the headlight switch. Replace them one-by-one and you'll be fine. Good luck!

install headlight relays to prevent headlight current being drawn thru on/off and hi/low sw's

Ron, as usual, is right on. Do a search on the Board for Marcus Sucro and his "famous" relay kit. Easy installation, and best $20 I've spent on the car yet!

as long as your in there you might as well install a dash light in line fuse or small Cole Hershey 3amp CB with a reset for $8
