Just went to fill up on Optimax and yes you guest it the cable bust, any ideas as to how to open the flap as an interim until I get the cable sorted?

I have not yet had the "fun" of actually doing this but you can take a piece of fishing line and slip it under the rear end of the flap. you hold the line on the sides of the flap and work it to the front. You will catch the release and then tug. Voila! it opens.

A shoe string works better. Most people have one with them..... unless they wear loafers.
