Does anyone know how many of these have made it to the states?

The 1976/77 was the K series and a special 3.0 model was not built for the USA (unlike many other Porsche models) it is therefore not easy to say how many were imported - although someone in the States probably knows. Don't rely on PNA though!

Altogether there were 1,473 coupes and 646 Targas made Chassis No:

Coupe: 9117600001 - 9117601473
Targa: 9117610001 - 9117600646

While not common they are not all that rare. I have one there is another ~1mi away, surely not typical but.......
