Provincetown is indeed interesting. We went there for what turned out to be a tewrrific Whale Watching excursion--highly reccomended if you re into the eco thing. however, my kids got an eyefull as the annual gay pride parade was on that day.

Marconi Beach is a must see. Long stretches to walk, some of the best waves on the east coast, tall dunes, and cold water.
