Talking New member saying HI

Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to say HI to everyone since I just joined Rennlist and got my very own Porsche. My Fiance has a 911 and a 914 and he just got me my own 1988 924 S to track and take to the beach. However, I must admit that my favorite Porsche to drive is the 911 (love the power, sexy looks and the sound). So I will be looking in on this page often. I hope I get the chance to talk to many of you. Have a fanTABulous day!
Always - Jaime

Welcome! I'm forced to agree with you re: the 911, but the 924 has nice lines and is nimble, so enjoy!

Jaime,

Welcome to Rennlist! That 924 S is not only a good looking Porsche, but with the 944 engine and 944 brakes in it, you've got the best of the 924 line! NCR will be at Lime Rock in early September - great opportunity for you. In any event, enjoy!

Bill,
My Fiance and I have already set that as my first DE event. He says what a wonderful track that is to learn on. I have never even seen a road course except NHIS, and from what I hear that is a hard track to learn on. Will you be there at the NCR event Bill? I would enjoy talking to you about how to get around Lime Rock!

Jaime,

I'll be instructing at that event, and would be glad talking about any aspect of DE at LR. If you haven't already, CVR has a guide to Lime Rock, here, at which will give you a written description of the track. There's also a very good VHS film anayzing the track, narrated by Derek Bell, entitled 'Up to Speed: Vol 1 Lime Rock Park'. I sometimes use it in the Spring to refresh my memory of the track. If you have any questions before hand, PM or email me
