Default Door Lock Removal Help

Hi guys,
My door doesnt shut properly and ive found out the actual lock on the door is sicky and rusted.
I took off the door card and all but to remove the lock i have to get the vertical window runners out of the way. But it looks a bit tricky if ive got to take out the window, frame and all the seals- which is a bit messy and im no pro on window fitting.

Has anyone done this before or know the best way around it? I thought of
taking just the window out and pulling the runner out a bit to squeeze the door lock out but im afraid of bending the the runner and ive have tried to window frame out itself but no luck on it moving.

Thanks
