Default Correct Technical Stickers

Hi everyone,

I’m currently restoring two longhood 911s, one is a 1969 911T and the other is a 1972 911T.
I need some help identifying the correct technical specification stickers for the engine bay. Specifically, I’m trying to determine which stickers these models should have and whether the border of the sticker should be red or black.

Any guidance from those who have experience with these models would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

If you want to put your head through a wall, with the various model, year, country options on these stickers, good luck :-)

I tried on mine and figured I got it "close enough"

The guys over at earlySregitry were pretty helpful.

Oh, c'mon. A newcomer comes here asking reasonable questions and you guys give him nonsense? There are actual correct answers, you know. I don't know for a '72T, but for a '69T, here is what you need:

Yes, that is my point, it varies by year, country, model, etc. And the guys at EarlyS were helpful to narrow down what mine SHOULD be, or close enough!

Raspritz,

Thank you for your response and for providing the image—it’s really helpful to see exactly what the correct stickers look like on a ‘69T. I appreciate the clarification, as it can get confusing with all the variations across different years and models.

I’ll try to find a similar reference for the ‘72T, but this already gives me a good idea of what to aim for.

Thanks again for taking the time to help me out!
