Default 911 Oil Pressure Sensor Replacement

1986 911.
If I replace my oil pressure sensor, how much oil will come out with the sensor?
Is this a job I should delay until the next oil change?
Thanks!

I’d be surprised if any came out.

You just have to be really careful, as access is tight if you have AC. You need to remove the oil line and put the brass block in a vise to remove the sender. Even if you can get to the sender with the oil line in-place, the torque you need to apply to remove the sender risks cracking the engine case.

Thanks for the cranium's up Mark--you likely saved me some unexpected downtime.
After a quick look at it from the top, I thought this was going to be an easy job, but as YOU know there is a bit more to it than simply unscrewing the old sender.
Looks like an off-season job!

yes... this... do NOT try and take the sensor out directly.. there have been horror stories of guys breaking chunks off their case and it becomes new case half time. or welding and machinist work.
