Hey Guys,
I'm back in the saddle again. Brought home the new screamin' yellow 911, a 70 911t. Needs some paint and other TLC, but it sure beats a bug.
Engine has checked out okay so far, turns over by hand good, plugs look good. Looks like there is a little crap on the valves keeping them from sealing.
Next step, flush the oil, them put on some carbs and see what happens when I try to start it.
Soooooo.....
I'm looking at carbs. Webers and Zeniths.
Webers cost big bucks, zeniths not as much. Other than that, for a street driven 911, what is the difference between the two.
I'd appreciate any and all advice.
Thanks
John Helgesen
