Default Frunk latch: Easy adjustment?

My 65 911 frunk lid pops loose with the wrong bump (always has). I’ve been told there’s a cable that sets the tension on the latch. Is this adjustment easy/accesible or am I going end up burning half a day, break something and still take it to a shop that knows what they are doing?

Maybe the early cars are different, but when this happened on my car I fixed it by adjusting the latch a hair higher. It is held in place by two bolts under plastic plugs. I used to use a bra on the front, and it meant having to adjust the latch each time (to accommodate the thickness of the bra).

But I always worried I would go too far and then not be able to open the lid. Just go up a hair at a time, maybe 1/16th of an inch.

it’s not hard but takes some trial and error (adjust, drive a little, re-adjust if necessary, etc.). Ed Mayo outlines the procedure in his posts here: https://www.early911sregistry.org/fo...ch-Adjustment&
