Hello all, I'm new to the forums but have been having problems with my 2001 c2 continuously blowing fuse b8. I have fault codes 21,61 and 47 for the alarm system. The passenger door intermittently doesn't roll down the window when either handle is pulled. Whenever the fuse pops the vehicle shuts down. From looking at the diagrams I see that fuse b8 is only for the alarm system circuit. I know I have problems with mt passenger door circuit but am also wondering if there is an internal fault within the alarm module causing thee fuse to pop. I wouldn't expect the fuse to pop for just the passenger door not operating correctly. Also, the door lock light is on whenever the key is in the ignition, regardless of if the doors are locked or not. Can anyone offer some insight or has anyone had experience with this?

You may want to try the water-cooled 996 forum. this one is for the old air-cooled cars.
