The 100K mile mark is the kicker.
As soon as a car approaches that "dreaded" number, the car is instantly devalued. I have always been bothered by this happening. Mileage is certainly a good indicator of condition. It's just that sometimes people will frown upon a car with high miles, regardless of service history. That's not right. A well maintained 100k mile car can sometimes be a better buy than a half-heartedly maintained 60K car.
Just my 2 cents.

I just bought an 87 cab for $19K - 44,000 miles no wear - PPI checked out. Yes, one end of the spectrum - but the deals are out there. <img src="http://forums.pelicanparts.com/attachment.php?s=&postid=648028" alt=" - " />

Follow the Anderson rule: "Always buy the most recent, good condition car that you can afford".
The 3.2 Carrera was truly the epitomy of Porsche engineering and reliability.
Aside from engine displacement between the SC & Carrera. The biggest advantage is the g50 transmission/gear box on the Carrera. Exponentially better than its predecessor.
