2.7l de stroke options

Hi,
I am building an R tribute from a 66 swb.
The only engine I could find was a 74 2.7l.
It is going to get rebuild from ground up, but I would like to get it de-stroked to have a little more rev range.
what do you guys reckon the logical setup to follow. Size of crank, pistons, rods, cams..
It will be a canyon carver, and semi track car, not daily driven etc.
