Default Turbo Rotors on NA car?

Hi,

I would like to put cross drilled rotors on the front of my 85' 3.2. Can I use Turbo/M491 rotors with the stock calipers?

Thanks,
Andy

im not sure if you can put Turbo OE rotors on , but there is no reason you cant just buy aftermarket cross drilled rotors for a Carrera. Lots of people do it. not many put OE rotors on their car based on cost alone.

there are 2 very different versions of 930 rotor
early versions used through mid '80 were a multipiece design which used a separate 21mm spacer which allowed them to be used on n/b and w/b 911. M491(w/b) use the spacers and n/b do not. Thes can be used on any 911 but of course you also need to use the 930 calipers and you need to use the rear versions and change the m/c.

from mid '80 the M491 both turbo and n/a use a 1 piece rotor which has a 21mm o/s incorporated in the design, these also use a different hub which also has the extra 21mm o/s in it's design. These only for 911 w/ the wide 930 fenders.
