Got the car back from paint, need to put the rear reflector on got new clips in today, I do not want to break thi# old plastic part. Do I put the clips in the squares then press on the reflector or put the clips on the reflector and press on?

Fresh paint needs the reflector put on.

if i remember correctly you mount the clips in the holes on the body , then press reflector in..

post a pic of the clip.

but now that i think of it maybe you put the reflector in and put the clips on from the other ( muffler ) side ..

OK, I put the clips in last night, then tried to press in the reflector. The problem was lining up all ten clips, with a flash light and small screw driver I was able to work from left to right lining up the pegs. Finial got all to line up, this is the worst design ever!

lol... so the clips do in fact mount in the holes of the body work ? then press in reflector ?......
