Default 1983 911 SC Cab seats

I've been looking for information on this topic but can't find anything relevant. Has anyone seen the seat controls on a 1983 SC located on the seat bolsters? I have attached an image.

Thanks. I am new to the SC world and I'm considering purchasing one in Europe...

I had a 1983 cab and it did not have those switches. Indeed, I have never seen an 80s G-Body with those switches on the seats. Interesting…

Thanks guys...

I haven't seen those seats anywhere either. I'm going to look at the car next week. I don't know if this guy is the original owner so he may not have an answer. Hopefully he will have the original window sticker...

Another question is related to the Turbo Look of the car. My nephew, who has seen the car in person says the paint looks original so it doesn't appear to be a kit job. I'll check that as well. I did read about a "possible" 83 MY option available those days to get this package, at least here in Europe. The then president of Porsche had an 83 SC Cab with this same Turbo look...

Any thoughts on that?

Thanks again for the help...

I'm far from an expert in this stuff, but have had my '85 cab since 1996.
The 1983 SC was the first year of the cabriolet.
I have never seen seats like that. Will say that on a cab, due to sun exposure when driving or parked with the top down, the interior will be more likely to suffer sun damage. So replacing seats at a relatively lower mileage might be due to that.
On the pic, I don't think those are original SC fog lights. They are the nicer '84+ style.
Headlight trim rings also are not original. My '85 still has the original sugar scoops. I think the ones on this car started around '86. Very common for earlier cars to do this upgrade though.
Just pointing out these issues in case originality is a big factor in what you are looking for from this car.
The side marker lights behind the front wheels mean it is probably a non-USA car. Those were standard in Rest-of-World cars, not present on USA cars. I know from your description that is expected.
The car looks amazing. Hope you like it.

Thanks oldskewel...

I've been looking around and it appears these are Recaro LS seats. I know Porsche has been using Recaro seats since the early days but the question is whether or not these were an obscure option for the 83 SC.
Recaro info

The car is and always has been in Europe. It was delivered to Madrid in late 82 out of the factory so there are probably some minor differences with US bound cars. Originality is paramount for me thus the reason I'm researching these issues before I go see the car in person.

Thanks again...
