I apologize in advance for asking something that has been debated ad nauseam... after two weeks of owning a 911sc '82
I understand how bad the ventilation system is.
Let's forget the AC for now (which apparently was fixed, new pipes, no leaks, but lost freon so now doesn't do anything)
Let's focus on the air only, the annoying whining blower.
I feel that if i turn the full speed on (all the way to the right) makes a high pitch noise... it also happens i think when i turn the **** between the seats to 0
is that something that needs WD40 or do i need to replace entirely the fan?
I'm having hard time in general to feel any air coming from the vent, and even less air or zero from the central vents...

I would not spray WD40 on it, that smell would not go away for a long time. From my understanding they just go bad after awhile and will probably need to be replaced. Have you checked that there are no obstructions in the fan, like a mouse nest?

so if I understood correctly there are two blowers, one in the trunk for fresh and one in the back for hot air right?
if the noise sounds coming from the front, I assume i should check the blower in the frunk first, then in case the rear blower... clean it/them without using oil or wd40 9to avoid smell) or replace it I guess
